Godly Play at St Peters

Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. The Godly Play approach helps them to explore their faith through story, to gain religious language and to enhance their spiritual experience though wonder and play. Based on Montessori principles and developed using a spiral curriculum, the Godly Play method serves children through early, middle and late childhood and beyond.

TRUTHWALKERS

We are so excited about the upcoming TruthWalkers plans! TruthWalkers is Sunday school for children in 1st

– 5th grades! The class will be facilitated this year by Cindy Gutowski & Diana Johnson (or adult substitutes

as needed). TruthWalkers will meet each Sunday in the Godly Play Room from 9:15-10:15am beginning on

August 17th. Group texts are sent weekly to TruthWalkers families to keep them updated on activities and changes.

10:30 Family Service; Family Gathering & Food afterwards

TODDLERS SUNDAY SCHOOL

Toddler Sunday school meets in the Nursery from 9:15-

10:15am each Sunday beginning August 17th. This class

is for children Kindergarten aged and younger.

YOUTH SUNDAY SCHOOL

A new Sunday school class will be starting on August 17 for youth in 6th grade and up! This class will meet in

the back choir room from 9:15-10:15am each Sunday.

Second Sunday Youth Gathering

Every second Sunday of the month, students in middle and high school gather in

Bender Hall for food, friendship, games, and worship. Some who gather

are members of St. Peter’s, and some are from other communities. All students

are welcome!
