How did you become involved at St. Peter’s?

I followed other former St. David's members when I moved back to Lakeland in 2019

What do you love about attending St. Peter's?

Connecting with the people in the congregation whom I've met and grown to love , plus opportunities to support outreach in the community.

What attracts you to the Episcopal Church?

The liturgy and solemnity of services.

What is something your church family would be surprised to learn about you? (e.g. hobbies, education, career, interesting/unique job you’ve had, etc.)?

Trained as an elementary teacher, I worked only seven years in a classroom. Owning a craft shop in the Georgia mountains for eight years provided a modest income but lots of good experiences.

What is your ‘go to’ or favorite bible verse?

Psalm 55:22: Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.

What is the last book you read?

One of James Harriot's books, All Creature Great and Small
